What We Do
Equipment Pilates classes - all the equipment and small apparatus. We like to keep it simple and stress free, in semi private classes, so max of 3 people. Our classes are designed for everyone - you don’t need to be super flexible or fit to do our classes cause we are all about you and what you want to achieve. Using our own method of Pilates taking the classic elements and adding in some different techniques to give you the best workout.
What does Panacea mean?
Panacea is the Greek goddess of universal remedy, she was said to have a poultice that she used to heal the sick. A panacea in medicine is a substance that is meant to cure all diseases. This is what the studio is about providing health and healing to all our clients whether that be through Pilates, Nutrition, Massage or Kinesiology.

I am a self proclaimed nerd when it comes to the human body. I have spent quite a while studying the human body, with qualifications including a Diploma in Pilates Equipment Instruction Therapy, Certificate IV in Pilates Mat Work, Diploma of Remedial Massage and Bachelor of Health Science in Nutritional Medicine and Certification in Applied Functional Science, that is the fancy way of saying I am a Pilates Instructor, Massage Therapist and Nutritionist.
My love of helping people with their health came from my own experiences, plenty of injuries and my own health issues made me want to learn a different approach to healing and moving. The success and changes I saw in my self lead to many years of study and desire to share that with other people. I want to help end the one size fits all mentality and having individual programs for each person is what I believe in and bring that to every class I teach or consult I have.

I have never done Pilates before and Catherine took the time to personally assess me and develop a personalised program to help with the rehabilitation of my knee! She caters for all needs and experience levels and has empowered and educated me on the importance of strengthening the right muscles correctly to avoid injury.
That facilities are state of the art and the atmosphere is warming.
